Help please - positive or negative

I am in the middle of hooking up my components and ran into a small issue. I cant tell which of these terminals is negative and which is positive. There is a red dot on the left one and red is usually positive but the right one is bigger which is usually the positive. So which one is the positive.

I'd go with the red dot. The terminals look the same width to me.
