Help please last question

Got a more powerful amp kit , turn on my audio and Sub hits with 20% bass and when I put my ear it sound distorted? Please guy let me know straight up what can I do or do I need a new sub ?

It was all set at zero. I hooked up capacitor worked good for 2 minutes then bass went extremely low and it sound low distortion like if it blew

need actual models of the amp along with how you set the gain and how the whole install including head unit, wiring gauge EVERYTHING

LIST EVERY **** DETAIL YOU CAN IMAGINE please or else this will get nowhere real quick.

Yes I unhooked the capacitor and did the normal set up to the amp , and still thel same. Amp power is on no bass

So you were getting a lot of bass before the cap, then after the cap was added you hardly got any...so now your saying you have absolutely no bass at all?

20% bass when I turn it up , it goes lower and distorted when I put my ear to sub

Hook your speakers up to the amp as normal.

If your using the amps built in crossover, make sure you didn't accidentally switch it to high pass.

Ok so I'll just turn this all down and give it a shot? Dose it have to do with my speaker wire size?
