Help please (even though it's been asked 1000 times by others)

My brain doesn't match my age.....I think I'm still stuck in being in my early 20's....that's when I had my first system (then met an azzclown, got married, missed out on my entire 20's, then got divorced and started living again).... plus now I hang out with a lot of guys that drag race and I do have an IROC that I race.....

And you completely missed the joke I had set up PERFECT spanning two posts and two pages. =p

That's all cool. Live and learn. I know I regret the way I spent my teenage years.

So next thing is the amp - both amps for fronts and sub (trying to get back on the subject before everyone reading gets sick of our little flirting)........ !

Id suggest ED amps...

a 9.1 and a 9.4, you can use the 15% system builder discount, and get a nice price, somewhere around $500 shipped for both, and both will have a three year warranty as well.

Might want to pick up some deadener too, rattles= //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

ROFL! Well, that really depends on what you need to power. I would like to believe that you need your choice of subs set in stone before looking at amps.

But you did say Atlas 12s, so I'm going to check AA's web site and see what their power rating is.

Zachzchw: That'd leave her $100 for her subs, box, and wires. Gonna let her drive around bumping Pyramid?

atlases dont need a big amp (my suggestion on page 1 would hold true still lol sans the sub) i have an atlas. its clean and can bump pretty good but i also almost sit on mine lol.

Appearantly, the atlast 12 is rated at what I'd like to call a modest 300 RMS, and is a dual 4 ohm VC. So, you need an amp that does 600 watts at 4 or 1 ohm.

Heh, my Power Acoustik lying in the attic collecting dust does that. =p

Here, my sugguestion is to look for an amp that does 600 watts at 4 ohms, but it also 1 ohm stable. That way you have the power you need now, but room to grow. Box / subs / wires aside, we have alittle less than $300 to part with, yes?

Audiolife: Are they DVC? The explanations are confusing at best with the adjustable Qts.
