I guess there probably is a bunch of youngsters on these boards and I didn't even think about .....that but I'm a 35 yr old chick who likes to spend my hard earned extra money on the cars (usually on racing but now also for sound) ...I don't have kids so my cars and dogs (I also show dogs) are my kids LOL! Anyway- just so you know I'm not so worried about the $$ part.....I was raised to invest in high quality and not go the cheapo route but of course you gotta set budgets!

I'd say just get the soundsplinter Rl-P 12" sub, a decent prefab sealed box for it (or you can probably have one built suited for it by someone here on the forum), a elemental designs 9.1 amp for the sub, some good components for your fronts if you are not satisfied with your JL's, some new rears (recommend ifinity for fronts and rears), and an elemetal designs 9.4 amp for them, with all this you will be more then happy and should suit you towards what you are looking for

m3 subs are nice... id probably opt for a 50-100 watt x 2 amp for your jl's and a memphis sub with a 250d or a 500d ...maybe even a pr series amp. like a pr150.2 and a prd500.1

Well, I can guarantee at full output an Atlas will cause permanent hearing damage. So, yeah! They'll work for you.
