hey , i was not sure how to wire this... i have a rock ford fosgate 2 channel amp that i wanted to bridged so it will work with all four of my indoor speakers, i wanted to run the speaker wire directly to the head unit wiring harness instead of running it individually to the speakers, does any one have a diagram or can give me some info , thanks....

You don't want to bridge the amp.

That makes no sense whatsoever.

I think he wants to use the factory wiring in the doors for the speakers, but still have it be amped.

Problem is, you aren't going to connect your speakers to the factory wiring harness if you are amping them. The factory harness goes to HU power, aka gimpy power, and completely bypasses your amp.

You want to run the rca's from your head unit to your amp, and the speaker wires from your amp to the speakers. If you want you could crimp/solder the wires from the amp to some length of the factory wires already in place if its really a pain in the @ss, but if I were you I'd run new wire.

As for pushing the 2 channels to four speakers, I'm not sure how that will work, power distribution wise. I would imagine the output of each channel would be halved, and the signal duplicated, but mainly it sounds like you just didn't buy the right amp for your needs....

Running 4 speakers off a 2ch amp means you're gonna have to wire the speakers together in series or parallel so you end up with 2 speakers on each channel. I would advise against this as you will loose either front to rear fading or left to right balance control, not to mention stereo separation and imaging. But if that doesn't bother you then wire your front speakers in series and connect to one channel of the amp, wire the rear speakers in series and connect to the other channel. If you don't want to run new speaker wire to each speaker, just run the speaker wire from the amp to the factory harness. Locate the speaker leads on the harness(disconnect them from the stereo if they are already connected) and connect the speaker wire from the amp to them and you're good to go. Make sure you connect the speaker wire to the leads going to the harness, not the deck!! The speaker leads on the deck should be left unattached and taped up to avoid shorting.

If you absolutely must, run them in parallel.

Run the Left Speakers (combine both + to the amp, and then both - to the amp) on the Left side (usually channel 1), and the right speakers on the right side (usually channel 2). You will not have fader, but honestly... in your case...who gives a shit about fader as long as you have stereo separation.

Also, I understand about running the wire to your harness. You will need to run RCA's from your HU... then you will need to run speaker wire from the vehicle side harness (input-ing to the vehicle side to the speakers) to the amp... then wire as stated above. So basically, you are using the factory harness to distribute power to the speakers.

Done.

i figured it out , i know i lose fading , but thats fine , the amp at 2 ohms does 200 watts per channel , so ima hook up 2 speakers on each channel , giving each speaker 100 watts ..... thanks everyone...

im in the same boat as you, i asked someone about powering 4 speakers with a 2 channe amp, but told me its not something i should do. and that i should just get a 4 channel amp.
