Help picking best SPL subwoofer?

i want 2 15" 4 ohm dvc subs and wire them down to 1 ohm and put them in a 5-6 cu box for my grand prix trunk.... what pair of subs WILL hit the hardest and hit the lows really hard too?

15" sundown e

15" audioque sdc 2.5

15" re audio ***

these subs are in my price range mine you about $250-$300 total... Thanks!!!

none of them ,they all need 3.5 cubic ft each . a dc lvl 2 or 3 takes 3 ^3 per sub and thats one of the subs n the market that will take smaller boxes ported

The RE is garbage so mark that out. Just build your enclosure to 7 cubes if you need that much space for the other options. The E series is pretty stout and I've always liked the AQ 2.5s.

in a trunk i would just do two 12" subs. save up a little more.

im buying a audiopipe 1000 rms amp.... and i got an 06 grand prix with a decent amount of trunk room but the subs cant be on top of the box they gotta be in front because i pull down my back seats to add more air space....

personally i think you should slow down and try to become more educated in car audio. ask more questions.

so the 2- 15s will be facing forward into the cab and the seats will be folded down? are you going to seal off the trunk- make it so the waves dont enter the trunk?

yes my box will be pretty much sealed so that the cabin takes all the bass. my windows will be rolled down so there louder lol

Could always talk to SPLaudio and have him build you some subs.

1. None of those subs are SPL subs

2. How is this an advanced SPL question? This is just a general sub question of which would work better.

3. A 1000 rms AP amp and SPL do not go together

4. Hitting the lows is more enclosure specific, not really sub specific

5. You may/may not be louder with your windows down on certain frequencies

Doesnt always work that way...sone trunks arent louder sealed off..and. 2 12s on decent power is plenty...save youre pennies and get the next step up
