Help Picking An Amp

New to the forums, bare with me.

I'm fairly new to car audio. I have Two Pioneer TS-W308D4's in a vented box.

1400 max/400 rms. Dual 4ohm voice coils. I'm feeling the need to upgrade my amp to push my subs harder (the one i have now is a Sony xplod xm-zzr3301) and I need your recommendations and why.

Budget is under $300.

Thanks!

That doesn't really help us in helping you achieve your goal. First off, how many watts do you want to send to your subs and how much are you giving them now? Then, what ohms are your subs wired to? And most importantly, your budget. Saying "nothing extreme" doesn't really define what that means for you. Some people on here thinks $300 are not extreme, but that doesn't mean it's not for your budget

Subs are wired to 4 ohms. My amp is giving 330 rms at 4 ohms. It's rated at 600 rms at 2 ohms, but I would have no idea how to wire it down to that.

Budget fixed on original post.

GeT A SUNDOWN SAE-1200D BEST AMP IN THE WORLD THEY USE SECRET TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE THEM ONE OF THE MOST EFFICIENT AMPS IT SAYS ONLY 1200 BUT ITS REALLY 1700 WATTS BEATS MY FI BL SO HARD!!!!!!

that amp would only do 1700 watts for about 6 seconds. then the magic smoke would arise and it would be scrap.
no ur wrong people have benchd it at 1700 it will do that on a good day i would know because it moves my FI BL hella hard!!!!!

so find the pics/vids/proof from the bench tests and post them up.
And btw hella hard dont mean shit around here. Put it on the tl then you can come talk.
i ahve proof 1200 wouldnt push my sub at al dude wtf it a tl?????

no 1200 watts wont push a sub rated for 1k, why would it do that.
And tl is term lab it the number that comes up is your score in decibels. If you dont have that than you have no room to talk.
stfu noob you dojnt even know wat your talking about

will my subs be stable at 1 ohm?

and since my subs are native at 4 ohms and pushing 400 rms each of them, i should ideally be getting an amp that pushes 800 rms at 4 ohms or 2?

Just got a good deal on a MB Quart Onyx or Sundowns ain't bad. I was looking to see if you could wire a 4 ohm DVC for 2 ohms.....don't think so....
