Help Pairing Equipment With Kicker L5 12" Subs

Hi guys, first post here. I'm gonna be putting my first system in here soon, and I needed some advice. I'm getting a pair of Kicker L5 12" subs in a box with a Lanzar Vibe 286 amp for $450, is that a fair price? I know it's kinda a crappy amp, and I think I'm going to just buy the subs, I figured I'd offer $300. That amp is too weak for those Subs, I want to get the Hifonics Brutus 1200. Would that be a good match for these subs? I figured I'd go 0 gauge wire, but by the time I'd want to upgrade I'd have a new car. Is it really worth it to get OFC wire or will the CCA be fine for now?

I'm personally not a Kicker guy, but seems like $300 would be fair if they were in pretty nice condition. I personally think you could get something way more vicious for your $300, but this is your setup. The Brutus would be a pretty good match as well. And for your setup, CCA will be perfectly fine.

On a budget, soundqubed is pretty much the way to go. HDS 312 are like $200 for the pair, you can still put the hifonics on them, but browse the classifies and see if there's anything in your budget there. Those subs are pretty much unmatched at this price, everyone on a budget is pretty happy those exist.
