the vfl 120.1 or the vfl 150.1.the 120.1 will give 1100 rms at 2 ohms and 2200 at 1 ohm , the 150.1 is 1500 at 2 ohms and 3000 at 1 ohm

That won't damage them will it?
I don't know much about car audio but I thought you had to stick to the rated rms and if you went over you risked damaging the speakers.

no , its better to have more power ,so that you dont stress out the amp ,than less power . besides you can turn the gains down for less power .and it leaves room for better subs if wanted later

Wow! All the other amps that are that price push 750 watts at 2 ohms! I can't buy it right away since its a future project but I'm definitely getting it
