I am about to order 2 of these Parts-Express.com:Selenium 8W4P 8" Woofer | 8" woofer 8 inch woofer midbass driver pro sound sound reinforcement PA

and power them with 150 watts a piece. I am also about to order 2 of these Parts-Express.com:Selenium ST200 Super Tweeter | Selenium ST2000 bullet bullet tweeter super tweeter hf high frequency driver

and power them with 60 watts a piece.

Now the question is how would I set these at their correct crossover points with the headunit I have Kenwood X889 or would I need a new head unit? My amp's highest cross over point is 1.2khz. So I cant go thru the amp. I would like to at the bare minimum cross them over at 2.5khz. Does anyone have any ideas to work this out or head units that would be able to do this function. I would rather go as cheaply as possible

if your head unit doesn't have built in crossovers i think your only other option is to buy a new head unit or buy an external processor with the necessary xover

I've never used this so am not sure what xover points it allows but this type of product would be your cheapest solution since you can use the filters on your sub amp
