help on deciding?

i have had this on my mind long time since I been in the car audio industry. i have quite a few brands on my mind.

the brands are directed, alpine, kicker, eclipse, jl audio, memphis, diamond audio, arc audio, polk audio, us amps, or any other sets...

i am planning on just using all my equipment into just one brand. i mainly have alpine products and pioneer headunits. i used to have a directed 2400d. i liked it but they don't have nice subs...orion i know is made by them but are their speakers nice? can someone recommend me a brand that i can stick to? thanks

what do you mean? i know that many each and every brand have weaknesses, but can someone just make me a list of a nice set for

1 set of front 6.5 components set

1 set of rear 6x9 speaker set

2 12" subwoofers that can make/handle at lease 1000rms

1 amp-class d mono for subwoofers

1 amp multichannel for mids/high

which farad cap would be nice if i was looking at 10 farads?

which power wires/speakers wires should i use to get the most out of my amps?

which rca's should i use?

what kind of crossovers/equalizers should i use? i trying to buy this one guys us amps crossover x2, since i sold my x3 about 1.5 ago, so yeah would that be enough?

what should i do? does anyone have any plans that i could go with?

im saying that i am going to aim at putting all my equipment like amps, subs, speakers into one brand, but don't know which to choose from. thats what im trying to say. well let me know which you would choose.

well, i would go (personal opinion) alpine HU, polk comps, MTX or SAZ mono and alpine 4ch. with an audiocontrol EQX

i haven't had any experience with mtx...are they pretty tight? i know their pretty bad, but are the amps built to last?

i have no experience with alpine HUs. there are some alpine gurus here tho. 9887 rings a bell. i run the polk mm6s.

as for MTX, what makes you say they are "bad"? they are quality stuff, just overpriced. solid amps that are under-rated

haha, SR series if you have the cheese. DB series is also good. old skool momo ftw
