Help on a truck/small box

I have a truck box in my truck that i built myself. The its tilted and when i lay the sub in, part of the magnet hits the back of the box but it still goes in. I put pollyfil in and the whole works. Each sub gets about .5-.6 and the min. is .3. It isnt very loud at all, and when i heard it in a friends car with the same exact setup jus a bigger box it slammed. Now is it not slamming cuz i dont have enuf airspace or is it because the magnet is so close to the back? I added polyfill so i dunno what else to do, and if i need to build a bigger box i will but i need help, thanks guys

i give the sub .6 the guy said the box gave about 1.3
