When I play my Command and conquer game online how can I get peoples IP or how do they get mine?

now when I play there are 5 other people all in the same game. how do I know whos IP is who's? and do I have to type this when I am playing the game or after or what?

What is your nick on CC (I'm assuming it's Yuri's Revenge)? I assume you either play TOE or Sendona being that you mentioned 6 people.
