!!HELP!! No sound comming from internal speakers!

[pjvoc 10+ year member]

im trying to play music from itunes on my macbook, it was running fine all day and now I go to play a song on itunes and it wont even start, i push play, and the song dont start, and I have no volume comming from anything

any suggestions would help

I looked at system preferences and it says my output is muted, but it cant be unmuted!!
