To start a single 12" Pioneer Premier TS-W3004SPL dual 4ohm coils ran parallel to 2ohms @1000rms:

Pioneer TS-W3004SPL (tsw3004spl) 12" Dual 4 ohms SPL Competition

The amp powering it will be a Precision Power PPI BK1800.1D & puts out 1100rms @2ohms:

Precision Power PPI BK1800.1D (BK18001D) 1800W RMS Mono Class D Black Ice Car Amp

Since these answers depend on how I like my setup, I know that no one can tell me exactly what to tune it to. I've tried a few sites with no luck cause im not that much of an audiophile but am learning to be! I just want help building the box close to my subs specs & then i"ll take it from there. Problem is, I stink when trying to use these sites no matter how much research I do!! Here's a bunch of site that I've saved:

- Speaker enclosure volume calculator: Speaker Enclosure Volume Calculator

- LinearTeam WinISD Pro: LinearTeam

- The12Volt.com: Subwoofer Enclosure Calculators, Fraction to Decimal, Parallel, Series, Port Length and Volume Calculators

- The Subwoofer DIY Page: The Subwoofer DIY Page - Box-Building FAQ

- Enclosure Volume Calculators: Enclosure Volume Calculator - Subwoofer Box Calculator

With that said, I want it for everyday driving, but if a song comes on that I wanna listen to at full tilt, well then I want my organs to vibrate to put it bluntly!! My guess, a slot ported box around 2 to 2.5 cubes at 32 to 35Hz. Best ive seen is here: Free Box Plans: http://www.caraudio.com/forums/enclosure-design-construction-help/137804-free-box-plans.html With the space I have to work with in my jeep, max measurements are round 30" or less in width, 14" or 15" in depth, & 15" or 16" in height with a slotted port & these come close:

- 2.25 @ 32Hz= ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Here's the rear cargo area & both those amps are gettin replaced with a PPI BK1800 sub amp & a PPI BK800 4ch. Do u think I should face it towards the tailgate or firing upwards?

I did & I get confused with it cause I don't have all the specs they ask for & have had a hard time trying to find em all!!

Anyone that can help just a little would be great!!

Should I just go with one of the 2 box plans I posted? One is 2.25 cubes @32hz, & the other is 2 cubes at 35hz...??

Maybe since this sub is known for hitting those low bass notes, I should go for th 2.25 cubes tuned at 32hz...??

max by pioneer is 2.05 cubes recomended is 1.65 cubes

i'd do 1.75 tuned to 32 hz
Yeah I seen those figures, but figured that's manufacturer specs & have been told not to follow those as u can get more out of a sub with some mathematics & tuning.

How bout 2 cubes, slot ported, & tuned to 32hz??

Anyone agree with this??

If so then im all set & am calling it a day!!

You won't find all the TS numbers WinISD needs to model a box properly because Pioneer is notorious about not publishing the characteristics of their drivers. That should be a red flag to anyone considering running their subs, in my opinion.

While I understand & agree with u, its the sub I have & the sub I'm gonna run. Besides I bought it for $85 bucks & the goal was to buy a sub with a minimum of 1000rms.

Only 12.5 square inches of port per cube... it'll work tho. My first box I designed and built my self was ok. My second one was designed by @Buck ; and rocked my ride. I ran that one for quite a while before I felt confident that I'd learned enough to try again.
