Update need info on port size look at last post

Just as title says I am going to attempt to build a box for my subs. The one that they came with is garbage and rattles and sounds like it is falling apart. For now it is going into a extended cab pick up. But after that the back of a car. So box size is really no issue. Any idea on where to start?

Think I may give this a try. What is better 1 port in the front for both suns 2 in the front one for each 1 on the side for both or 2 on the side as in one for each side

This is what I have found. A few of these boxes pretty much similar to each other , and almost exact the same as my budds kicker l5 box. Seems the hz will be around 31, I guess that should be ok for everyday use. What you guys think Be kind as I am not good with drawing and I used paint works lol

HELP

I just found this web site and I put in my dimensions and It says my tuned freq is 26.813426878195 . IS this ok? Or should I make my inner port larger or shorter than 10.8 to get a higher freq. Seems shorter makes the freq go up and larger go down. But would it be a good idea to mess with it or just leave it as designed as the box is almost done just the 2 sides to cut and the last port

Just went out and measured better it is actually calculating 27.8 hz. So that should be ok, that's more what I wanted

Well I finished it all up. Well still needs carpet, and final sanding before carpet. But for now it being used until I have more time. I've got about $36 into the whole thing, a lot better than a prefab that was $90, and I got the experience of doing it myself. As for the sound. Oh for all that is holy it drills. I want to have it tested and see what she is putting out. Does the hair trick and makes it hard to swallow drink or whatever(but I guess that's from being only inches away from your head). Pic is before bolting top on and putting the rest of the screws in(it lines up good at the angles.
