Help! Need more deep bass from small space

I once sat in a truck with a 15"sub in the bed, powered by a 2000w amp. A hole was between the bed and the cab to allow sound to enter the cab. There was so much bass that my ear drums started to hurt; forcing me to ask for mercy.

With that in mind, I have a '99 Silverado extended cab and need to upgrade my subwoofer setup from a kicker 10L5. My plan was to purchase a Kicker ZX750 with a CVX10 and build my own box. Before I do so, I wanted to seek some advise from other enthusiasts.

Limitations:

1) $1000 budget for new amp and sub

2) 2.25 cuft

3) Maintain rear seat functionality (ability to access storage behind the rear seat)

Which sub/amp combination would give me maximum deep bass (hip hop), within my limitations?

The only reason I did not put the 12L7 into the running was due to Kicker's recommended 3.25cuft for deep bass.

Will it produce the same level of bass in 2.25cuft vs 3.25?

In a downward facing box, how much space is required between the 12L7 and floor?

Recalculated the numbers...not stuck on size. However, I am seeking the lowest bass I can hear and feel. I'm a noob, so my each is not trained enogh to isolate other differences.

Which provides more SQL from 750 - 1000w (#1-4 are ported)?

1) Single 12 L7 2.4^3 (1.25net) @ 35Hz Kicker recommends 3.25^3 net

2) Single JL 12 W6 2.1^3 (1.5net) @ 32Hz JL recommended volume

3) Single Arsenal 12 2.4^3 (1.25net) @ 35Hz No recommended volume located

4) Dual 8 L7 2.4 (2.0net) @ 35Hz Kicker recommended volume

5) Dual 10 CVX 2.4 (sealed) Kicker recommends 0.8 - 3.0 ea

Or other recommendations

Blowthrough with 2 FI Q 15's IB venting into the bed FTW.....

But realistically I am not sure what to go with.

If it were me I would do a pair of 12w6's sealed.

But that might not do what you need it to do.

you say you want deep bass, and every box up there is tuned to 35hz

ive never really messed with 1 10, but tuned to atleast 32 if not 30 depending on your opinion of deep bass

and with a sealed box your way limited in how deep it will go, you might feel it move but no sound hardly

small boxes arent very efficient for low low bass, some subs do better in small boxes though

like i said, ive never really messed with 10s, and im sure my definition of deep bass is a little different than yours

get a 12 Cvx 2.25 ported is perfect for it............

and get a zx750.1 and the cvx 12 and port and tune to 35 hz and it will be loud enuff, way louder than L5 10...and get deep enough
