I got a memphis big belle and when its on, it goes into protection but it pulses like it wants to turn on but cant. the red light just pulses. I checked the ground and switched the ground to different places but nothing works. any ideas?

Stop trying to use it before you make it either A. Startup without protection catching the problem and smoke the amp or B. If you just leave it there hoping it will come out of protect at some point (lol some people think this way) you could damage the protect circuit because it's not designed to sit there and cause the amp to go into protect over and over for hours, maybe a few mins before some of the dinky transistors in the protect circuit overheat and fail. Then your amp needs whatever problem it has fixed that was causing it to go into protect AND needs the protect circuit fixed which because of diagnostic time can get expensive. So unhook it and don't try to turn it on anymore.

That being said (just don't want you to make it worse than it has to be) We repair the belles for anywhere from $100-$200. http://www.db-r.com
