help!!! my amp doesn't turn on

The other day I connected wrong my subs, i have a 2 channel amp and I connect the subs in 1 ohm. The subs sound good but the amp turn off and it doesn't turn on again.

Did I burn the amp or what happend?

What 2 channel amp do you have? Most 2 channels will not run at 1 ohm mono, you possibly damaged the amp.

Is it rated at 1ohm stable? how did you wire the subs to the amp?

If it is not stable then why did you run it like that. It may be fixable, depending if it is blown, which it seems that it is...

If it is damaged, then of course it can be fixed. But that garbage amp is not worth fixing buddy. What subwoofers are you running, if I may inquire...

It may not be worth it...

are there fuses on the amp? usually if there are and you ran it like that you would cause a huge current pull through the amp and blow the fuses.
