Help Mtx Terminators Blanking Out

i have 2 12 mtx terminators connected to a crunch 1100 watt amp and if i play it loud for a long time the subs just cut off. the power protect mode doesnt cut on or nuthing the subs just cut off, what is wrong?

check your connections inside and outside the sub box

how long and how high of a volume level? where are the gains? i bet it's thermal protection (AKA getting too damn hot)

with the loudness on i go to about 37 38 and it plays for about 10 15 minutes before they cut off

when this happens, is the amp super hot? also check the ground spot/wire/connections.

i have 2 4 ohm subs combined how many ohms will it be putting out

how are they wired together? what subs/amp (model #)?

if it is in one of those old mtx boxes they put auto resetting circuit breakers on the speaker leads so you cant blow them...

Could be this yes. But if its cutting out he prolly has the bass boost up too high

its sounds like you dont have your amp adjusted for full power.In order to push more power, after a 10-15 minute interval, be sure you have adjusted your input level (gain) and bass boost to the highest setting, It might also be because your head unit is not at maximum volume.
