HELP MTX TC8001 Amp Power problem

Hello i just google'd and joined this forum needing desperate help.

I got a MTX TC8001 Amp from my friend installed and everything but when i power it up it does not play, and it gets REALLY HOT!!

I investigated further with voltmeter at the batter and it seems to be draining all the power...im charging at ~14 but when i put the fuse in it drops all the way under 12... even the fuse itself gets REALLY HOT it melted my last fuse holder.

ive tried to eliminate variables like sub probs by disconnecting them from the amp, grounding it to two diff places, making sure nothing is bridging my power to ground...but it seems to be the amplifier.

Correction ; update -

i have narrowed it down to the subs...for some reason when i touch the terminals to the amp the sub's cone just pulls inward and sticks pulling all the power, when i take away the terminals form the amp there is a bright electrical arc/spark...what could be the cause of this.

sounds more like an amp problem to me

Outputs appear to be blown on the amp. The subs are pulling inward because you are applying straight DC to the subs. With the subs disconnected, put your DMM on DC and measure the output terminals on the amp. Working amps should be very close to 0, one with blown outputs will measure a large voltage.
