Help! Mtx 8000 10 Box Help! Ported Or Sealed?

I just got a mtx 8000 10" subwoofer. Iwant to know the best box for it. I actually have one it measures 8 inches deep, 12 inches high, and 15.5 inches long. the woods i used is an oversized 1inch particle board... now, if that box is alright, for the loudest basss, should I put ports in it? or leave it sealed?
