Help Me!

Hey guys im a big time noob to stereo systems and all... so i went to the local place that installs systems and had really like no idea what i wanted or really about anything. The guy that owned the place recomended a package that included 4 door speakers(memphis)... 2 12" tsunami subs with a box, and 1 orion HCCA-D600 amp... all of that installed for about 800$.. i got them to install it same day and all... the first couple days it was pretty sweet with the bass so loud shaking the whole car and shit but like its kind of getting annoying since every song i try to play i can barely hear the words and the person singing since the bass over powers it... on the console i tuned the bass all the way down and the treble all the way up but it didnt really help... I'd really like a system that has good bass but isnt so BUMPING lol.. and that you can actually listen to the words and shit... is there something i could do my self?.. or what would you suggest me do?... sorry if this is hard to read... :-D

is the bass boost on ? if so,turn it down and you can turn the gain on the amp down as well.that should help

i dunno what bass boost even is.. where is the bass boost controlled from?.. the amp?...

from reading the first post i would say there is no amp on the speakers. there's only an orion amp on the subs.

get yourself an amp to power the four speakers and you will be happier.

can you get a pic of the amp settings ? i dont know about ur amp,if it does have a bass boost,then yes its on the amp

check on the back, top and sides of the boxes. maybe on the floor in front of the box.
