Help me

I am having problems with my amp.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif . My amp keeps turning off, and the red protection light comes on and it shuts off. This is starting to make me mad. I checked the remote wire, the power wire. I havent check the ground wire but I dont thank that will be the problem. SO can you guys help me out.
