What amp would you suggest?

If you could find a Kicker zx750.1 in your budget it would be good, but you can't find a new one for that. I don't know if you could find anything new that would work better for the 150$ you can get that Alpine for.

Why 10's out of curiousity? Dont get me wrong, I loved mine, but why

I think it'll work fine for what you're wanting, you're not wanting stupid loud, you're wanting to hear the music.

I'd say go for it, it shoudl make you happy.

No reason as for 10's. I was recommended 10's by someone. I assume he choose 10's for me because it would save a little more space?

Also, you said you listen to rock music, 10's are better for that type of music.

My original price quote was full retail. But still a very good deal. The amp will underpower a little but it should still be fine. A nice two channel could work but since they are dual 2 ohm you would be running at 4 ohm's a channel so a mono block is best. If you can find a mono that puts out 600w RMS at 2 ohms then that would be the amp to go with as long as it is around the same price as the alpine.

Ah, really appreciate that post. I'm going to look into the Pioneer amp. The others either seem to be out of stock, or doesn't include free shipping. In which, my whole order will be charged shipping.
