ok i just sold my old system to upgrade

i have a 1993 caddilac daveil

and i just got 2 visonic 15'' with one vibe class d 1200 watt mono amp

and im getting a battery and new 4 gauge wire do u think it will hit hard

and its going to be in a seald box

think i should get vented or bandpass? or just stay with seald

for a 15 i would recomend a ported or vented....stay away from bandpass cause they will produce good sound reproduction on a small freq. range and sound muddy and distored on the others...ported would be the best bed....good luck

ok went to the mall and got 2 lanzer 15'' 745 watts rms subs on a big vented box

and filled the box with pollyfill

and got a 1600 watt power acustic amp with a 1.0 cap for up two 1500 watts

ang got a 4 gage wireing kit

hooked it up and was amazed how hard it hits and souns sooooooo good on them lether seats

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
