help me with amp

If you don't mind those amps only doing half of what they advertise on a good day or spontaneously combusting go for one of those. You'll need an amp that does around 600w at 4 or 1 ohm. Hard to find a decent one at that price, but you can probably do a little better than the amps I found in a quick search:

that last one there...thats a 600 watt amp and as a pair the subs i want do double that...is that how amps work or am i missing something....also i think i might have to change my subs maybe to alpine type S?

comp vr's have alot of potentiol, they can handle more than 300 rms. as for finding an amp to push them hard for 150$, talk to ur local street hustler. that hifonics amp should beat the piss out of 'em. that's an underrated amp.

another question...will i need 2 amps if i want to hook it up to my speakers?...or can i hook the speakers and 2 subs with that hifonics amp?

Not recommended. Most class D amps dont play the full music spectrum and I know that Hifonics doesn't. It would also split the power equally between the sub and the speaker, which probably would overpower the speaker and underpower that sub. What speakers are you using?

EDIT: A separate amp for the mids/highs would be best, or a 4 channel amp bridgable at 4 or 1 ohm.

Heres the dilema.

While I really like Profile, I only like their Clarus line.

I had an AP1040 and the AMP wouldn't work right unless I turn the engine on.

Someguy in this forum swore up and down on the Clarus line so I tried one and hes right.

Maybe I just got a bad California serie but I won't go back.

Instead of the AP1200, buy the CL800 instead.

SAme exact specs.

Millionbuy.com has it for $120 also.

The last AMP(ZX6000) is $189.

Sonicelectronix.com has the nest step up(ZX7500) on sale for $189 also.

Great buy there.
