Help me understand what a Bit One is for?

Hi!

I'm looking at having a new system installed in my G37 coupe. I'll be running either DynAudio Esotec 362s or Focal KRX3s. I'll also have a 10w6 for a sub. I'll be keeping the stock (bose) HU/Nav system since I want it to still look stock.

A couple of local car audio shops have recommended putting in an Audison Bit One as well. Will this dramatically improve the sound quality? What does it actually do?

Thanks!
