help me understand my amp

Ok guys im pretty good when it comes to amp settings but i need some advice.

I run a AQ HDC3 15 in a chambered t-line tuned to 34hz off a sundown saz-1500d @ 0.5 ohm. now when i set the gain i set it without using the ssf. I got the gain set where i felt was good but the sub was just barely bottoming out. Song was you aint know which i slowed down quite a bit, not sure what the lowest note it though. Well i turned the SSF up just a bit to clear the bottoming out. What gets me is i dont think the songs i am playing play below 34hz. The Dust cover never gets warm, nothing ever smells so i know im not clipping it. Am i actually playing under tuning?

May not be the amp Might have the driver. I dont know muck about T-lines but maybe the enclosure is stressing the sub? Look for some T-line experts to chime in.

well i know t-lines are known for not being able to control the cone, but this t-line was built with a real small compression chamber to help with that.

I have heard the same thing, but I dont have enough technical understanding of them.
