hi, I seriously want to have a dope system in my new ride and I am a total n00b when it comes to Audio. So I'm here to asking for your help. My budget is like $1000 but that can go up a little bit. I want "clean" bass and not just all out LOUD but to get loud from time to time to show off...My FX35 already comes with two BOSE 5.25" subs, soon to be tossed after or sold if someone wants them?

i want 2 12" subs..i think that should be sufficient enough...thinking about mounting one on each side like along the wheel wells, so the box will be fibreglass and i have someone to make it for me.

as for what i want, i have no idea...was looking at the JL W3v2 but isnt the v3 comming out this month? also for the amp, what would be god to power these subs or would you recommend something completely different.

I am completely open to suggestions as I have no clue as to what im doing

First off, decide if you want this professionally installed or if you or some of your friends can help you. Professional installation can cost a bundle, so be prepared for that as well. I like the idea of a fiberglass box with 2 subs, but that can be costly if you get that professionally done.

go with a single 12" idMAX and put it in a ported box. give it 800 watts and youll have SQL. i got my idmax for 220 used and my modded mtx 1501d for 320 used.. and a ported box from moe lester here on these forums for 110.. they were worth every penny.

get the sonic fx q from the forums here. buy an orion 1200d. do the big 3 in 1/0 wire. Buy a nice h/u,something like a higher end alpine, pioneer, eclipse . you dont have enough money for an in dash yet, unless you cheaped out on something else. build yourself a nice ported box. that will take most of that 1k, and you will have a nice sql system, that can get REALLY loud if you want it to.

for the head unit im going to use the stock one as i want to keep the factory look.

install will probably be professional because im a noob and dont want to mess with a new car, espessialy because its espensive.

im soo confused on the sub and amp, everyone recommends something different so i dont know. i have $1000 and thats flexible i can go over. and thats only for the hardware not incl. install or box.

iv got 2 12in 3v2 running off a 500/1... soudns really nice.. it gets loud when u want it too and always has a deep solid bass... no distortion shit whatsoever

im not going to switch the components so that saves me like 362 plus im not including box price into my 1K so i have like almost 500 to spare.

i want 2 12" cause i dont rly like the way 15" looks, its too big and i want to stick my subs in the corner like this, one on each side. i wont have my amp like that ill probably put it in the spare so you cant see it
