Help me solve speaker hiss.

Gains are set with a DMM.

Amp is a sundown 100.4

Headunit is a Pioneer AVIC F90BT, RCA's grounded.

I didnt have the speaker hiss in the last setup, with the same headunit/RCA's/different amp.

Any ideas? There's a lot more knobs to play with on this sundown than the old hifonics 2ch's i had for my speakers, so maybe i have something set up wrong.

I guess i should explain a little bit better.

Its just a slight pink noise in the background, and fluxuates with the volume knob. I dont think it could be a gain setting issue because i set the gains properly.

Its not overly loud or anything, but noticeable if turned way up. It can be heard in between changing songs, and i want it GONE

assuming this is with the car off so you know it's not a ground noise.

Try lowering the gain a fuzz and turning up the level on the HU, such as SLA if yours has that. Just have to find the happy medium and it should go away...

mine was always gain induced.. I have it now so the only way I hear it is with the volume all the way up music paused.. not even loud enough to hear between songs even sitting at a stop light.. besides the fact all my songs are 1-2 seconds apart.. I do hear it in songs though in the recordings.. it bothers me..
