Help me set up my front stage/ midbass on my budget/ skill

Ok. This will be going in an '08 Civic SI Mugen. Powered by a fosgate 400.4 (100 wrms x 4 @ 2ohms.) Rear channel is also bridgeable.

It has 6.5's in the door, tweets up by the windshield, 5.5's in the rear deck, and an 8'' "sub" in the rear deck as well.

Now I am definately a noob when it comes to setting up a front stage/ midbass, so I need some help.

I was thinking of going w/ a set of decent components in the front, and an aftermarket 8'' in the rear deck to handle the midbass. (not sure if this is a good spot) I already have a sub, so I don't need this setup for anything below 75 hz or so.

Also kicks are pretty much out of the question for now.

Also, budget is $250 for speakers.

For that amount of power and budget look into

JBL P660C 2ohms

Focal 165 Polyglass 4ohms

Hertz ESK 165 4ohms

Rainbow Soundline 4ohms

i doubt you're interested and hate pushing sales, but i got a set of rainbow cmx kicks which are basically built for midbass, that im looknig to get rid of

one thing tho i will tell you about them is.. alot of people say they would take like 250-300 watts. no.. they dont. . period.. but they do take a solid 100-150, but they are so efficient, they're basically the same as almost every other speaker on 250-300 watts..

Can someone recommend a good 8'' for the rear to help w/ the midbass, or is this a bad spot for midbass?

i wouldn't mouth the midbass in your rear deck.

you could looking rainbow which also has 8's & kicks

which you can mount in your doors

you will have to make some mounting rings.

put 1 10 inch in your trunk

try to keep your front stage up front,it does make a difference
