Im thinking of purchasing some subs,one of the subs has a scratch ,will that effect the sub in any way?

the person should be sending me pics tommorow so i'll post them up

No wouldn't effect the sub at all , unless your going for a show setup a scratch shouldn't matter much to ya especially if your saving cash.
