lol you sure can, just because you can't get it right now doesn't mean it's outside the realm of possibility. if you save $1 a day it will only take you one month to buy your new toaster.
Really though a quick scan of walmart for black and decker toasters comes out to $17 give or take.

i use a toaster oven for my waffles, and cook alot of things in that.great for almost anything, even reheating pizza back to crispy rather than microwaved flimsiness.
