thread jack for a moment, but thanks for the link to the amp, i was looking for one with 1500 watt RMS xD do you know if MB quarts are under/over rated, wattage wise?

It'll do what it claims. It's a nice amp for the price. Lots of people on the forum would agree...

On topic : you definitely want to invest in sound deadener if you want to bump anything, otherwise youre gonna hear more rattle than bass.

You could also take a look at the Audiopipe AP15001D. Some of the guys on the forum are running Audiopipe amps, and they claim they do rated power. The AP15001D will set you back less than $200. I don't have any experience with them, though. Just going on information I've read a dozen times...
