Help me finish this system/Sub choice

I know you guys are probably tired of this kind of thread so I thank you for bearing with me. Ok here's what I have picked so far:

Car: 2003 FX45

HU: Factory

Processor: Alpine PXE-H650 $310 shipped on ebay

Comp: RE XXX 6.5 $299.99 woofersetc

Comp Amp: Kicker ZX550.2 $250 shipped on ebay

Sub://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Sub Amp: Kicker ZX1000.1

So as you can see I have not picked a sub and with so many choices (and I've researched until I'm blue in the face) it's a difficult decision. I want to go sealed with 1 12" sub. I'm leaning toward a 12" IDMAX but can't justify paying $500 for 1 sub. So I need you guys help. I want something that will blend well at low to mid volume with the comps but will pound at higher volume. Budget is $350 shipped max. Thanks for any help.

IDmax, SI Mag are both great subs to consider

If you're willing to give up a little more room, my vote is two RE SE's sealed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Thanks for the feedback guys. Looks like the SI Mag is out of my price range. I can only find it for $500 which is more than I'm willing to spend. 2 RE SE's is definitely a way to go(although I hate to give up that much space) and would go real nice with the XXX comps. The Fi Q is a finalist as it seems to meet what I'm looking for and is priced nicely. I know this may sound stupid but who is AA? I've never heard of their subs. When you say they are local do you mean out of Central IL? If so where? Lastly I looked at the SX but read on RE's site they are recommended for ported applications only.

i second the JBL 12 inch GTI MkII opinion..

I have one in a sealed box 1cuft and it sounds great (yes lil bigger box could prob. get more out of the sub)

Sounds great, really tight crisp bass, and much cheaper than $500.

I have it in my trunk and sounds loudd, but with your car being an FX it has a open cabin and would be heard even better.

What about an AA Arsenal or Havoc? Could pick up locally as they're not that far from you...
I've decided on the Ascedant Audio(took a while to get what the AA stood for:crazy: ) Havoc. Great suggestion! Will work perfectly for what I am aiming for. Any idea if it can take 1500 rms? I may decide to go with the 1500.1 instead. Thanks!
