Help me fiberglass gods!

So I'm trying to do some 6.5 door pods for my first time ever messing with fiberglass. Everything looks okay, and shaped nice I just have no clue how to finish this.

What should I do about the carpet? I'd rather paint the panel and not wrap it, as long as it looks decent from far away.

Please tell me all the obvious things that are wrong with these pictures!

You need to sand those bubbles out and all those rough edges. Then I usually go over it with bondo to fill in pits. Were you brushing the fiberglass on or poking it in? Just use lots of sandpaper and you'll be fine

yeah It looks like I'm going to completely start over.

How do you secure the cloth to the panel when you're stretching it though? I was having a lot of trouble with hot glue and getting it really stretched over.
