help me design my box plz!!!

ok so i just bought 2 12" Kicker Comps... i have a 2008 scion xb and i need to build a box thats gona fit and not take up the entire back

as far as room goes, i have

heigth- 19"

width- 21"

length- 38"

but, if i was to build a box to fit this exactly, i would no longer have any "trunk space"

so i dont mind if it is 19" tall or comes out to the window (all 21 inches from the back seat to the door) it just cant be so long...

my idea was this:

install my subs face up with the vent adjacent to both subs... kinda hard to explain without a drawing but basically there wil be 2 vents that sit just below each sub...

anyways.. anyone got any ideas?

my buddy has 2 12" l7s in his scion.. to get a ported enclosure tuned to 35ish you have to use up the whole trunk... if u go sealed u can have some room

yeah but i figured that if i make it tall and wide, it will make up for the lack of length of the box.

i just need some ideas on how to make a good box (for instance: space between the vents or how big they should be)

negative... he has it all the way up to the hatch if it would go any taller the sub would hit the window
