Help me decide what amp(s) for two 18" SX's!

My amplifier situation is kind of up in the air right now, so i need some opinions! I have two 18" RE SX's, dual 2 ohms (1000RMS), which are supposedly able to take more power then that, so i was going to shoot for more around 1200-1300RMS a piece. My electrical consists of the big3 done in 1/0, a Kinetik800 under the hood and a kinetik2400 under the back seat, one pos to pos run between batteries, and battery is grounded out to chassis/frame. It also has a stock alternator, but i believe the stock aly's on the 5.3L v8's for chevy are 130 or 140 amps.

These are the options i was thinking:

-Two Hifonics BXi1606d's (that would mean both running at 1 ohms)

-IA 20.1 ran at 0.5ohms

im open to any reccomendations! Im trying to stay under or around $400

i can get a pair of the hifonics amps for the same price, and their rated at 1600RMS @ 1ohm, more then those.

yep should with no problem i have 2 SX 15's .5 on a Hifonics HERC 130 amp stock alt you should be good. IA 20.1 is a good choice (efficient amp) or a kicker ZX or KX 2500

im using hifonics right now, and i've used it in the past. I've bought a bad refurb before, but not a single problem with BNIB hifonics amps.

depends on which ones you get and how u treat them the XX series are great amps under rated, the Brutus series amps are over rated and a bit fragile at times lmao but still a decent budget amp!!!!!! U must have treated yours like Sh!T

lol yea i had the Brutus its was the all silver one not the new ones it was ok for about 2 months.

Jsut go with the IA 20.1 or you could do a Hifonics XX-Colossus if you dare to!!!

Amp does:

2 x 600-Watts.....RMS @ 4-Ohms Stereo

2 x 1100-Watts....RMS @ 2-Ohms Stereo

2 x 1600-Watts....RMS @ 1-Ohm Stereo

1 x 2000-Watts....Bridged Mono @ 4-Ohms

1 x 3200-Watts....Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms

1 x 3600-Watts....Bridged Mono @ 1-Ohm

1 x 4000-Watts....Bridged Mono @ .5-Oh

says 2x 1100@ 2ohm so might do 1200 to 1300 cause its under rated!!!
