help me decide... orion 2500d or planet audio vx2200d or hifonics xx hercules

i've decided i'm going to get 2 12" re sx's and now i need an amp that puts out at least 2k watts. the three above are the amps of choice, but if any of you some other suggestions, feel free to add them as well. basically all i want to know is which amp would be better (overall quality and sq)? please give your best recommendation. also, i do not want to spend no more than $700 on the amp.

2500d- will draw alot of current make sure u upgraded ur elec system, will do more than rated rms

pa- under rated

xx hercules - will do its rated rms at 13.8 and its "Super Class D" wich is suppose to be a lil more efficient that Class D amps.. and also will do more that rated rms

How about the USAmps Merlin MD2.. will do 1521rms at 1ohm @ .1% THD... it was benched at 1900w... and u will get lots more..

Well jackson is selling his BNIB Orion 2500D for $500.... the hercules go for like $450 brand new in ebay.. and that PA i think is like $250.. but that PA wont do its rated power... id say get the Merlin MD2,Orion 2500D,XX Hercules.. in that order..

the 2500d will make u upgrade ur battery and ur alt.. so it will be more expensive... the xx hercules will run with the stock elec system so will the usamps merlin d2.. maybe leter on upgrade to a yellow top for your system, heck u can put one under the hood and use it as ur main battery and have a lil increase

i already have a yellow top and i was planning on doing the big 3 with 1/0 gauge wires. right now i have a stock 140a alternator. if the big 3 and the yellow top does not help, i'll be getting an iraggi alternator.

my budget for the amp is no more than $700.
