Hello //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I got a new car (2009 Megane) and am about to install some stuff in it.

What I have:

RF 3sixty.2 (wanna keep the OEM HU)

Mcintosh MC440 (2x100 and 4x50)

The sub is not an issue right now, wanna pick the speakers first.

So, the contenders:

----------1-----------

mid-high level component

for 500$

----------2-----------

funky diy setup:

Just to see if it works, but it might! and it's cheap at 300$

----------3----------

and some higher level ones, which are the most expensive at 800$.

So, what will it be?

Things to consider:

I will not be having any builds, so expect silly off axis angles.

I will not be deadening the doors (they're actually deadened pretty well as is, but I won't deaden them no matter what)

Hmm, well, aren't those dyns a nice comp set? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Edit:

I have a question, can a sub/woofer be cut at 200hz LPF and a mid at 200 HPF?

[OT] My curiosity was piqued. I had to see who'd name a car a Migraine. As usual, when unintentional automotive absurdity is called upon to show itself, the French are responsible. [/OT]

You would think. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif :( //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Anyway, I pretty much scratched everything, and went with these because my door speaker is only 130mm.

Already had 'em, looking for something else now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They were pretty sweet yeah ^^ Plus I can get them for the price of 1 at madisound, but I'm not sure they're worth that much anyway.
