Help me choose new shoes for my vette

Ok, im completely indecisive about which rims I should get for my vette. I am buying used since....well its xmas time and im short on funds, so you know the drill. I can afford both of these sets, they come with fairly new tires so the price is pretty equal on them. here are the rims, the ones on the charger are 22's and the ones on the cougar ar 20's. Now remember I do not race this car, or even drive it very much since its on its way to a show car status, so im not significantly concerned about ride on it or how it performs on the track.

I need the unyeilding professional advice of my fellow ca.com loungers this morning. Mainly because well,..... im bored.

Well I get that alot from the hard core old fart vette guys who think chrome ZR1 rims (which I have now) are the coolest thing since disco. Can't remember if they fit but what about some Z06 rims, I always liked taking modern stuff and putting it on older, think I have seen it done on the ZR1's but can't remember. Blacked out Z06 rim on there might look pretty sweet, and be performance too boot.

I say get them. They would be different and definately get attention. And like you said, if they dont work out, slap em on the jeep.

Im leaning to this logic, but I cant decide which looks better.....the 22's would be cool as hell (just because of different factor) but im not real sure they'd fit all that well. I suppose i'll have to put one on and see how it sits.

Both are pretty bad IMO, I would look for something with cleaner lines as both those have too much going on for me.

Thats just me though and I really dislike bling bling style rims.

Have you looked at the the new Z06 wheels? They make them in 20 x 11 and I think would look sick on any C3 - C7 corvette

If you have to get one of those sets I would get the 22s off the charger. But IMHO I don't think either set would look great on the vette. I'm not saying don't put big rims on it, but neither of those sets are the right style for it IMO.
