Help me choose my new sub

Hey, I would like some suggestions for a new subwoofer for my car. I'm tired of my whole trunk being full of speakers so I'm downgrading from 2 Pioneer TS series subs in a ported box to a single 10 or 12 in a sealed box. I listen to rock/rap and would prefer a 10 but am having a hard time matching one to my amp. My amp puts out 1550w RMS at 2 ohms, 1222 at 1 ohm, and 800 at 4 ohms. I would prefer to find something that can handle the full power. Suggestions please, price will be around 400 for the sub

what amp do you have: make and model?

The amp is a bazooka MGA11500H, great amp, puts out true power. I'm considering just putting one of the Pioneer TS3002's I have now in a sealed box and going with that. Any opinions? I have 2 of them now in a ported box at 1ohm so the amp only puts out 1222 watts. I think I would prefer one in a sealed box at 2ohms with 1550 watts.

I put one of the pioneers 3002D4's I had in a sealed box and it sounds really good. Just as loud and sounds much cleaner than the 2 Polk DB1222 I had before. Running it at 1500w RMS with no problem.
