Help me choose an 8

Breaking in the Dayton right now, and I have to say that this is the best sounding small sub I've used. It's even tighter than my RF 10s and RF 12s, AND it drops pretty low in my apartment. I can't wait to get it into the car!

Ugh, ID8 isn't near the Dayton's level. Loads of lead slap too.

A couple of questions, if you don't mind. What is the volume of the enclosure that you're using with the Dayton? Approximately, what would you say the Dayton weighs? TIA

You could look into True Bass Solutions 8's maybe?

I just installed one of these, picked it up for 80$ shipped, finally got it in its box on a alpine MRP450 (400 @ 2 ohm) at 75% gain in a 0.9^3 box @ 30 hz and it slams..its super clean and rivals my Type R 12 ported. Love it, can't beleive its just an 8 on 400 watts. Theres only 1 thing im not satisfied is..and thats my box..unfortunatly theres more port noise than id like and its annoying since my box is really close to me (ext cab truck) wish i woulda put more TLC into it..But this sub moves VERY nicely off the 400 watts im giving it.
