i'd pull the sub out and inspect the backside of the cone. the metal clanking noise **MIGHT** be the cone either hitting the connects or the spider. my 15's i had hit the spider a couple times (where the wire is woven in) it made a metal kind of a pink-pink-pink noise. it might not be...but you might as well check before you tear your chit up

Well today we checked all the wiring, moved the power wire to the battery, and its definately the box, so i guess i am gonna have to get a ported box built for me.

So the 4ga is ran directly to the battery now and it doesn't make a big difference? Did you get another readout on the voltage at the amp after the re-wiring? If so, what is it?
