HELP: Internet Connection.

ok.. so uh, i still have shitty DSL..

so this is the problem, i'll be surfing, using IM, etc.. whatever uses a connection.

& then my modem will blink red on the DSL light & the Internet light will go out..

then it starts to flash green, then solid green & when it turns solid, then Internet light comes back on.

but when all the lights are on I have a connection, I just keep getting kicked.

it just started happening like 2-3 days ago.. & it's only when someone is trying to use the connection.

unplug everything on the modem for 30 secs n then plug it all back in.....

I am having the exact same problem since Wednesday. AT&T said it's a wiring problem outside and can't get anyone here until Monday morning.

Good thing I have a cool neighbor that's letting me use his network for the weekend.

I tried to use dial-up because I am selling a few things....my God, how did we live with that shit.

that was the best advice i could give you DSL is'nt 100% ,shit happens .... no need to be an ******* ....

well, we did have a couple lightning strikes VERY close like 3 days ago..

that was the best advice i could give you DSL is'nt 100% ,shit happens .... no need to be an ******* ....

if that is all you could muster up.. i feel sorry for the people you associate with every day..

call your isp.. it is not going to take hours. it will most likely take 20 minutes..

actually if it just happend all at once, im sure a storm f'd something up, probably a switch in the area, which would mean that quite a few ppl would be calling yelling at them. I normally email my isp

DSL sucks the big one, but I went back any how. Cable here is 6mb down, 350kb up for $65 a month vs. DSL at 1.8mb down, 400kb up for $20 a month.
