Help identify an amp for a guy who's been out of the loop for years!

Hello everyone! Returning audio guy looking to catch up on everything since I got out the loop (2006 O_O) here. Im putting my old setup into my long time project car that is finally on the road, a 1985 Nissan 300ZX. The problem is where im putting the amps will not fit my Kenwood sub amp and my Thor XI amp, which I use to run my component set. I'd like to trade this amp for a smaller footprint one but I have no idea how much its worth or guys are even running old amps anymore lol. Any idea if this amp is tradeable? 150 watts x 2 channels into 4 Ohms (stereo)

250 watts x 2 channels into 2 Ohms (stereo)

View attachment 26529330View attachment 26529331View attachment 26529332View attachment 26529333 I still run all old school amps.And most are much better than the new power hungry amps.That amp there, you might get $80 out of it on e-bay starting out at .99 no reserve, thats a maybe.That was a great amp back in the late 90s, early2k.Decent for subs, not great for sq for front staging/rear, as the tdh was not great, as compared to most new amps, pretty compairable being said.Id put it on your subs as its a good sub amp,andwill out perform that Kenwood without a sweat, and get another amp for your staging.Id utilize it.It has more power than the specs state, and trying to buy another amp that will even compair closely will only be an un satisfied out come.I have a few amps that are available, and with a small footprint, and may save you some money.Yet, My opinion, ditch the Kenwood, as they have always been overated,and lack performance.Yes that thor may be big, but it can shell out some juice,ive seen it bang 6-15s with authority, and ran warm.Just pm me if you see anything of interest.I have some at15-260.If you want new, check out SoundStreams Little wonder 600 watter for the frnt staging,.What setup of speakers/subs are you putting in that vehicle?

Edit: Oh well. Anyway, long post short - I'll be running the following:

2x Ascendant Audio Assassin 12" subs

Component set - Elemental Designs eDi 6500 midwoofers and xovers with eDi 6000 tweets

Hifonics Thor XI amp

Kenwood KAC-9102D

Pioneer MVH8200 head unit

I thought about running the Thor on my substage but was unsure how it's power compared to the Kenwood. I ran the Kenwood on substage and the Thor on highs because I only had the mono block and the 2channel. You think the Hifonics would outpump the Kenwood at a 4ohm load huh (both rated for 500w, but I know "rated" is giving with a grain of salt at times)? I might swap them around and trade the Kenwood out for a component amp then. I just need something that sounds good and can deliver 100-150w x 2 @4ohms. Thanks for the reply man.

Yes that HF will bang the subs a whole lot better than the Kenwood,,..yes sir, sure will,if those subs are SVC 4ohm, Id wire them to the 2ohm load and get that amp to bang those subs,

White amps-Are NOT FOR SALE JUST YET,But, Old school Autotek Mean Machine ZED/Cheater amps.1-66,1-66hc,1-99,1-44hc.The other Autoteks are BTS series Zed amps,All working Just FINE, and most are Available, just PM me, and let me know the Interest of.

White/ Purple amps-JBL GTQ 1-400/4ch,1-200/4ch

Only RF amp I have is a 2ch 40,DSM that I picked up on here,about 2-3months ago, and really dont like it, but works great.Well, That HF THor will deff GET R Done..No need buying or trading for another amp with the power needed when you have it rt there.Ya swap those around, I think you will be a bit more pleased IMO.I traded 2-of those old school Alpine 3522 Duo B amps small little 1/2 the size of a sheet of paper amps,that I had in the WTT SECTION for OVER A month,well Anyways, He sent me a PM and said he hook 1 of the up to a pair of Audiopipe/Tech? 12s, and his neighbors hate him..LOL!Thats old school for ya..And for all those that didnt want to trade..I pract gave those amps away, for 1-4g usb chip for ea amp,.And hes lovin IT!

Yes sir they are.I just got one back from a guy wanting to test it, and put it in a guy at works truck, and he wanted a 2ohm mono load instead, so I traded it back off with an Autotek BTS 7100.They both work just fine, one needs the RCA connection sleeves, and soldered back to the board, due to theft recovery situation, but all that is needed for that one, the other one works flawlessly, and both look quite presentable for being over 15yrs old

I just got a pair in the mail today myself. They're a little rough, but for the price I paid it was an unavoidable buy for me.

They are great amps, and run clean clear and pretty loud in stereo, yet, pretty decent for 4ohms mono as well.You can sand the heat sinks down, and resurface with hitemp paint???Ive only done that with 2 amps in my time, and was worth the effort.Hope they test out fine for you,These are the last of my big collection

I had 4-2150,2-2100,1-6300,1-4080,1-4060,1-2050h,1-2050,2-2075,1-600,2-2200,.I always wanted that monster 1000, and should have bought it back then..I have never seen one to date since.It would have been a REALM.I really liked the amps, and they always performed well.I put so many of them in so many of my cars, it was unheard of.As well as the Autoteks, and HF series VII,VIII,couple means too

Ya man, I have a set, and working on putting one on each set of my 1000rms DVC2ohm 10s at 2ohms.Hard to find.I may run them for a few months, and see how they do, if not, I will put my pair of AutotekBTS 7150, back in.I did recently pick up a white PlutoVIII,and That GeminiVII will not be needed This time around.I am taking that out, and putting in 1-VulcanVIII, and 1-ODIN VII in,or maybe Autotek BTS (2)7050, or the 7204 BTX.Gonna play around a bit see what sounds decent.Rest will go on here pretty soon/after Jan 1st.for sale.I have an Autotek Mean 66hc??Ill let it go for $160 shipped???It will go on ebay for $180+

Autotek Mean HC66.BAAAAAANGS!! It beat the snott out of a CVega 12in Stroker, no issues, and ran it on a DVC4ohm 1200 rms 18,no issues. Ran on a pair of the 1000 rms DVC2 ohms 10s, no issues, I guess im beginning to part with some of my cream of the crop collection.No easy to do, but, They need to be used, and still drop jaws of people not knowing the true old school power.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/respekt.gif.b162d148236010609fe523122efe3729.gif
