Awts were good subs in their day, just cause its an Audiobahn doesn't mean its like 90% of their stuff, and trust me, ITS NOT like 90% of their stuff. Things are greatly advanced now though. I'd invest in a sub better suited for a Tline.

I installed an AWT12X in a friend's Intrepid back in high school, and while it got decently loud...it sounded horrendous.

yes i have a awt12x in a ported box 2.5 cf tuned to 35hz powered by a brutus bx1500d amp runnig a 1 ohm. what do you think is the loudest enclosure? (for awt12x)

Yes, I do, I've installed quite a few on the side and professionally.

And I was thoroughly unimpressed by all aspects of the driver.

I mean, if you want a sub with no musical reproduction capabilites, get an awt. Even then, I'll find you a cheaper, "better" sub thats only a fart sub.

That sub will not do well in a transmission line. I don't know why you think you want one. Is it because nobody really uses them in car audio besides a small few? They are typically not as loud as ported enclosures and can get very big.

id rather smoke crack then use that sub.....speaking of ******'s.....any back street right off of the downtown hood area might be prone to ****** activity, check there, take ur bahn, get a ******, do some lines, and you have a ****** line design....if ur lucky youll get a happy ending

My first system was a pair of those, and they were way louder than they needed to be. Anyways, anyone up for an Assbahn Awt12X wall socket video? I'm probably going to give it another shot soon.
