Ive always wanted an MT, but I had heard the BTLs blow them out of the water.

BTLs are nice, but used MTs would be in your price range with a little to spare. Thats why I suggested it.

btl's dont "blow away" MT's. they are both amazing subs from what has been said about them.

which company would you prefer is what it comes down to.

if you can find them in your price range, kicker solo x 18's...

we have a pair in the owner's escalade, in 14.74ft^3 net, 200in^2 of port, tuned to 29hz off "just" 4kwrms from a memphis mcd4kw...140's legal at 20hz, 151's at 50hz....not the absolute loudest setup ever, but hey, we are only giving each sub 2kwrms...and they are very musical for what they are. won't keep up with an sx or Q as far as SQ goes, but they wang like no other..lol...

I hadnt even thought about Treo, and I have always wanted to try them out.

How expensive are they anyways?

And as for MTs, are they musical at all? Compared to the SXs SQ? And I had thought about buying yours but I would like to get some that are fairly new and good cosmetically and mechanically.

How much does a used MT go for now?

What about the Treos SXX series? How is it?

I thought mine sounded pretty good considering the output they had. I listen to mostly rap.

It is perfect as far as mechanics go, just the little glue on the cone and some scuffs on the surround for physical appearance.

Maybe we could work out a deal for me knocking off some of the price for you to get it reconded, then it would basically be a new woofer.
