!HELP! Gas Tank directly below trunk!? Will SUbs work?

The only problem I have seen is that on older cars the bass can shake rust and debris off of the sides of the tank and it can clog up the fuel injectors/carb or fuel filter .

I have a 1991 chevy caprice and the gas tank is in the back end and im guessing the tank is right below the trunk.. can i still wang with this or will this cause a major problem?Help!

This is generally the location of all gas tanks. What made you think of this?

You should carry you car to a local installer and go in and ask them this same exact question.

my friend has some older infinity that has the gastanks in the trunk like the old ford pintos.....still managed to get a 3 cubs box, a rockford t2, and pound away with a jbl gti2200.1 muwaahahahahaha ....no explosions yet

i think he was just curious because he probably heard storys of people drilling in their gas tanks when using grounds and drillings for amp racks etc...
